چکیده

Abstract Here, a versatile strategy to engineer smart theranostic nanocarriers is reported. The core/shell nanosystem composed of superparamagnetic iron oxide (Fe 3− δ O 4 ) nanoparticle (NP) core bearing the biocompatible thermo‐responsive poly(2‐(2‐methoxy)ethyl methacrylate‐oligo(ethylene glycol methacrylate), P(MEO 2 MA x ‐OEGMA 100− copolymer (where and 100‐ represent molar fractions MEO OEGMA, respectively). Folic acid (FA) end‐conjugated copolymer, leading Fe 3 − @P(MEO )‐FA, facilitate active targeting NPs cancer cells. A highly potent hydrophobic anticancer agent doxorubicin (DOX) incorporated in y brushes via supramolecular interactions increase its solubility assessment therapeutic potentials. These experiments confirm magnetic hyperthermia properties nanocarrier reveal that only small amount (10% ± 4%) DOX diffused at room temperature, while almost full drug (100%) released after 52 h 41 °C. Interestingly, it found 60 40 polymers offer promising stealth behavior against Human Serum Albumin Fibrinogen model proteins.

The Effects of NDRG2 Overexpression on Cell Proliferation and Invasiveness of SW48 Colorectal Cancer Cell Line

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common causes of cancer-related death in the world. The expression of N-myc downstream-regulated gene 2 (NDRG2) is down-regulated in CRC. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of NDRG2 overexpression on cell proliferation and invasive potential of SW48 cells. Methods: SW48 cells were transfected with a plasmid overexpressing ND...
